Perth might not instantly remind one of downtown Manhattan, but funky new lounge bar and restaurant Box Deli might. The restaurant features superb seafood and pasta, with a particularly sublime duck tortellini being their signature, but it’s the stylish cocktail bar below, with its all-white, stainless steel counter and classy adjoining lounge that you will really love. Staff mix up some dreamy original potions like the Zentastic Martini (gin, Zen green tea liqueur, Cointreau, fresh orange, fresh lemon); and Jose's Passionate Revenge, which will knock you back with its combination of tequila, apple schnapps, ginger beer, pineapple, fresh lime, sugar syrup and mashed passion fruit.

Forget B, welcome to C, possibly meaning Circular since it's on the 33rd floor of the St Martins Tower and it revolves. Plush, cool and classy in an Old Hollywood kind of way, it's got all-round, floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking views of Perth, Swan River, Kings Park and the Darling Ranges. Drinks favoured by your sexy young C-sters are classic martinis and Manhattans and we reckon you should take one with a twist and check out the view from a black velvet booth before asking your date to dinner. The restaurant one floor below does gorgeous modern-Australian cuisine that fits the classy yet unpretentious air of the place. Later, head back up to the ventilated Cigar Lounge for a post-prandial Cohiba and a Cognac - best enjoyed while watching the view and listening to clubs sounds. The sky's not the limit, the C is.

Order a couple of New World classics in the dining room where the delish food is French bistro fare that includes lamb and chicken rotisseries, not to mention saucisson and coté de boeuf specials. Your fellow 'Musters' are attractive and happening young suits and media types, the singles among them looking furtively at each other over their glasses of Pinot.
