Since opening its doors in 1986, over 7 million patrons have utilised the world class facilities of Challenge Stadium for a wide variety of sporting, recreational and commercial activities. The centre has played host to numerous outstanding National and International sporting events including the highly successful 6th and 8th FINA Swimming Championships - never before in the history of the event has a city hosted this prestigious event twice.
Challenge Stadium was built in 1986 with its primary focus being a commitment to help develop elite sport and athletes in their pursuit of excellence.
Now, we are committed to excellence across a myriad of activities - from elite sport to childcare, functions and events to health and fitness.

CHALLENGE FUNCTIONS STORY
The Challenge Stadium Event Catering Department can offer cost effective and flexible solutions for the requirements of any function - no matter the size.
With floor space of 2,100 square metres the Main Arena is an ideal venue for exhibitions, trade shows, product launches, large conferences, balls and sit down dinners.
The Event Catering team can assist you with room layouts, plans and liaise on your behalf with audiovisual and technical equipment suppliers. They're committed to making your function at Challenge Stadium a record-breaking success.

CHALLENGE EVENTS STORY
The Challenge Stadium Events Department can offer cost effective and flexible solutions for the requirements of any event - no matter the size.
With floor space of 2,100 square metres the Main Arena is an ideal venue for exhibitions, trade shows, product launches, large conferences and sit down dinners.
On the sporting side, a three-court set up can be accommodated for training or one court for a major event. Utilising the retractable and fixed seating, a capacity of 4,220 people can be accommodated.
The Arena team can assist you with room layouts, plans and liaise on your behalf with audio visual and technical equipment suppliers.
Events hosted at the Challenge Stadium include international and national sporting events, exhibitions, concerts, functions and seminars. A wide variety of community programmes are often on offer for toddlers and teens, adults and the elderly and the Challenge Fitness Centre gives members access to a dedicated gymnasium and circuit room, fitness and deep water fitness classes and the aquatic centre.

8 busy Nightcruisers shuttled non-stop 100's of Party People to various locations after the 1,200 guests ball. All passengers where treated to on board entertainment and safe transport to Subiaco Railway Station, Claremont, Fremantle and Metro City in Northbridge.
