After over 2 years off the road in
Australia, Pete Murray and his band have
finally announced a national tour.
Pete will be joined by his acclaimed band;
Andy Sylvio (drums),
Ben McCarthy (keys) and
Jonathan Zion (bass)
The tour will see Pete perform in all major
capital cities as well as an extensive
regional run and tickets will go on sale in
the very same week Pete's third album,
"Summer At Eureka", hits shops.
"Summer At Eureka" was written, recorded and
produced by Pete in his home studio in the
hinterland of Byron Bay. The first single,
You Pick Me Up is an up-tempo track
that reflects the sunny, laid back and
positive environment in which it was
recorded. In addition to his touring band,
Pete enlisted Powderfinger's Darren
Middleton to add his deft guitar
skills to the song.
You Pick Me Up is already bulleting
up the Australian airplay charts and is on
course to equal the chart topping radio
performance of previous Pete Murray classics
like So Beautiful, Better Days
and Opportunity.

return to the Australian shores this August.
The Academy Is... will join
Panic At The Disco as support on all dates.
Panic At The Disco's last Australian tour
saw all shows sell out in just minutes (as
folklore tells it, one show sold out in a
mere 12 seconds), cementing their place as
one of the world's most electrifying and
in-demand bands.
The last tour left fans thrilled and wanting
more, while critics raved about the band's
dynamic performances. Recent sold out shows
across Europe have produced similar
responses. Manchester Evening News
left their local show impressed, announcing
Panic At The Disco a "must see live act this

perform his much-loved classical repertoire
which recently saw him play to a capacity
audience at New York's Madison Square
Gardens.
Conductor Maestro Marcello Rota will
accompany him, along with the esteemed Czech
National Symphony Orchestra and soprano Ms
Paola Sanguinetti, with additional special
guests to be announced.
And fans of his massive pop hits will not be
disappointed, with the promise of some
surprise duets during the concerts.
Hailed as one of the world's most gifted
vocalists, Andrea Bocelli has sold over 60
million CDs worldwide. "Vivere" The Best of
Bocelli, released November 2007 and debuted
at No. 1 on the Classical ARIA chart and #17
on the Album Chart and remains in the Top 10

HYPER FESTIVAL 2008
Sunday 31st August 2008 Midland Gate
Shopping Centre
Are you ready to go
Hyper- for the all ages music festival on
August 31st? This is a massive event run by
young people for young people. The 100% drug
and alcohol free event will be held at the
Midland Gate Double Storey Carpark. Huge
line-up includes Birds of Tokyo, Shihad,
Muph n Plutonic, The Getaway Plan, Tzu plus
heaps more. For more info on line-up see

The festival will have three extreme stages,
featuring hip-hop, punk/rock, DJs, MCS, beat
boxers, competitions, plus heaps more.
Last year, Hyper had a colossal turnout at
the Railway Workshops with bands such as
Butterfingers, Karnivool, Dallas Crane and
Downsyde performing. This year's festival is
expected to be even bigger, so make sure you
get your hands on some tickets early.
Tickets will be going on sale for $10 from
mid-July and more information about where
and how to get yours will be released soon.
