Situated 232 km from Perth, Busselton is a holiday makers’ haven, as evidenced by the fact that Busselton has been judged WA’s top tourism town three times (1995,1996 & 2005).  Its 30 km of pristine beaches on the sheltered Geographe Bay make it an aquatic playground with swimming, fishing, diving, snorkelling, boating and body boarding just some of the family water activities on offer.

The lifestyle is relaxed, the atmosphere is of a country town but the accommodation, restaurants, shops and other facilities are equal to anywhere in the world.

Traditionally, the industries have been agricultural: dairy, beef cattle, sheep and other agricultural products.  More recently, there is a burgeoning wine industry in the region and Busselton is a great base from which Dunsborough, Yallingup and the Margaret River Wine Region can be explored.

Visitors are welcome at the Busselton Golf Club, which is considered one of the Top 5 courses in rural Western Australia. Designed by Murray Dawson, it is fully irrigated, well bunkered and built on generally sandy soil and flat terrain with some gentle slopes. It is conveniently located 5 kilometres south of central Busselton. The clubhouse features a bar/lounge with pool table, bingo lottery machine, facilities for darts and indoor bowls, dance floor, dining area and kitchen, plus modern locker rooms.
