FESTIVAL HALL
One of Melbourne's original
entertainment venues, Festival Hall hosts
a variety of events, from amateur boxing
to top-name band performances of any
genre. Features an extremely versatile
layout.
HISENSE
ARENA
Completed in 2000, Hisense Arena offers
unparalleled flexibility for events and functions. This
incredibly versatile venue boasts an ICU internationally
accredited 250 metre cycling track, a Plexicushion tennis
court used predominantly for the Australian Open Grand
Slam Tennis Championship, concert quality acoustics, and
innovative seating design that ensures spectators are
close to the action at all times.
Hisense Arena caters for all tastes, with 10 food and
beverage outlets and 4 merchandise outlets within its
expansive public space. The total area of Hisense Arena is
13,100 square metres, with a floor space of 2,760 square
metres.
In 2006 NBL Basketball made a triumphant return to Hisense
Arena with the newly formed South Dragons hosting their
inaugural home game against Wollongong. The venue was a
former home to the Melbourne Tigers, Victoria Giants and
Victoria Titans basketball teams.
MELBOURNE PARK
Melbourne
Park Function Centre has first class facilities and
magnificent catering to complement its 2,200 square metres
of pillarless function space.
The soundproof, moveable walls allow the area to be
utilised as a whole or transformed into smaller, more

Today, Olympic Park Stadium features
the first accredited FIFA soccer pitch in Australia, an
athletics track, concert facilities, a range of
hospitality facilities, and can accommodate up to 18,500
people.
Olympic Park Stadium hosts some of
Australia’s premier sports and entertainment events,
including athletics, soccer and rugby league at local,
national and international standards. The Olympic Park
Stadium hosts home games of
NRL team

ROD LAVER ARENA
The
Rod Laver Arena at Melbourne Park was completed in 1988 as
part of the original National Tennis Centre complex. This
multi-use venue is able to host a wide range of sports and
entertainment events, from Grand Slam tennis matches to
international rock stars, and motorbike super-cross action
to conferences, dinners and classical performances.
The
facilities of this premier multi-purpose arena – its
15,000 seating capacity and prime position within
Australia’s premier sports and entertainment precinct –
makes it one of the world’s great arenas.
SIDNEY MYER
MUSIC BOWL
The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a
much-loved and vital part of Melbourne's
entertainment scene. The acoustic canopy,
protects from outside noise and provides a
valuable shield from the weather. Outdoor
concerts are common in summer.
TELSTRA DOME
Telstra Dome is a
multi-purpose facility designed to cater for major
sporting and entertainment events, as well as social,
business and private functions.
The Stadium is situated in the heart of Melbourne’s
Docklands, just minutes from the CBD. Telstra Dome is the
only football stadium in the Southern Hemisphere with a
fully retractable roof.
Since opening on March 9th 2000, more than 19 million
people have passed through the venue's turnstiles.
On the opening night, Essendon led by Kevin Sheedy and
James Hird defeated Port Adelaide 24.12.156 to 8.14.62.
Telstra Dome now has five AFL tenant clubs – Essendon,
Western Bulldogs, St. Kilda, Kangaroos and Carlton. |
